Justin Timberlake has officially ended his six year hiatus from music. Timberlake has become something of a jack-of-all-trades in recent years, including becoming a quite well regarded actor, as well as dabbling in the restaurant business and purchasing part ownership of the new MySpace.

As we reported earlier today, Timberlake posted a cryptic tweet last night which suggested he was going to reveal some interesting information today and, lo and behold, it came in the form of a video tweeted from his official account which shows Timberlake entering a recording studio, putting a pair of headphones on before saying "I'm ready".

The video, which is one minute in duration, is narrated by Timberlake.

"Someone asked me the other day 'So, are you just done with music?'", Timberlake says. "Look, I've only done two albums in ten years; that's the way I really look at it ... I'm the one who sits and is obsessive about it before you even get to hear it.

"As close as I get to it, I don't know that I could physically torture myself that much year-in and year-out and expect it to fulfill me the way that it does and the way that it is right now", he continues.

"I don't want to put anything out that I feel like is something I don't love, you just don't get that every day. You have to wait for it."

A countdown clock on Timberlake's website also suggests that something else will be announced at midnight (PST) on Sunday January 13th. Could this be the Timberlake/Jay Z/Timbaland collaboration which has been hinted at all day? Only time will tell.
