Taylor Swift will have to make some more room in her trophy cabinet this morning as she'll be adding an impressive eight Billboard Awards to her growing array of gongs.
The country singer won the awards for Top Artist - ahead of the likes of Justin Bieber and One Direction - as well as Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist and Top Digital Songs Artist.
The 23-year-old, who was one of the evening's musical performers, also took home the awards for Top Country Artist, Top Country Album and Top Country Song.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber won the 'Milestone' award and was booed by large sections of the audience who apparently deemed him unworthy of the honour. "This is not a gimmick. I'm an artist and I should be taken seriously", retorted the 19-year-old Canadian.
Top Social Artist while Carly Rae Jepsen and One Direction were among the evening's other trophy collectors.
Performers on the night included Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and Selena Gomez but it was Prince who brought the house down with a special performance after winning the Billboard Music Icon award.
