One of the biggest gigs of the summer takes place at Croke Park this Saturday, July 22nd when Ireland's most famous band arrive in Dublin for a hometown gig.

U2 have been on a tour commemorating the 30th anniversary of their album The Joshua Tree since May 12th in Vancouver, and since then they have been all over North America, Canada and parts of Europe in the lead-up to their headliner at Croker. After their European leg, they'll head back to the USA and Latin America for more dates before winding the tour up in October.

So, what can you expect to hear if you're heading along on Saturday? Bono and the lads have (obviously) been playing plenty of material from The Joshua Tree (the whole album is played in sequential order, in fact). They've also been kicking off the show with a number of songs that Bono has said "got us to The Joshua Tree" – so expect to hear the likes of 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' and 'Pride (In the Name of Love)' in the mix.

Once the album has been played in full, they've been throwing a number of big hits into the mix to ensure that the show goes out with a bang – while the other day in Berlin, they even covered a Beatles song in the encore. Perhaps they'll even have something special lined up for their home crowd...
