The nominations for this year's MTV VMAs have just been announced, and LA rapper Kendrick Lamar has done particularly well.
The ceremony will be held in California on August 27th and Lamar has received 8 nominations in all - the most of any artist this year.
Other bands and artists who have received multiple nominations include The Weeknd, Ed Sheeran, DJ Khaled and Calvin Harris.
There's no word yet on who will be performing live - the only real reason to watch the VMAs, after all - but watch this space.
