We have a feeling this won't go down too well with Nirvana fans.. Courtney Love appears to have given X-Factor producers permission to use one of her late husband's tracks on X-Factor.

Love tweeted Simon Cowell to make suggest this when she learned that Janet Devlin is from the same part of Co. Tyrone that her late husband Kurt Cobain's ancestors originated.

Courtney tweeted: "@SimonCowell you want some Nirvana songs? @JanetJealousy is from same town as Kurt? I have the perfect idea for that, call me babe."

Love has been embroiled in a long-standing feud with former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl about the rights to Nirvana's back catalogue, refusing to budge about allocating larger shares of the profits to Grohl and bassist Krist Novoselic. The seemingly whimsical nature of her allowing X-Factor the rights to Nirvana's music will surely anger Grohl, who has in the past attempted to buy the rights directly from Love.

Janet Devlin hails from the village of Gortin in Tyrone, 17 miles away from Inishative. Cobain's ancestors lefts the area for the US five generations ago.
