Although Bloc Party are down to just two original members - frontman Kele Okereke and guitarist Russell Lissack - they are recording a new album this year.
The band, who are at least temporarily a duo after the departure of drummer Matt Tong and bassist Gordon Moakes, have started to record the follow-up to 2012's 'Four'.
The clip posted by the band shows them playing the bongos in the studio. A potentially worrying development, let's be honest.
Okereke told an Australian radio station that they were in the "writing/recording phase" and that the new material is "like nothing we've done before but that's what everyone always says."
"So far there's nothing that I can compare it to really in terms of other musicians, whereas in the past I always could," he said, "we were always trying to reference something else."
