Pop's number one power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z are today celebrating the birth of their first child. Their first child, a daughter, was born in Lennox Hill Hospital in New York City late on Saturday night.
Blue Ivy Carter was deliver via caesarean section in the hospital, which Jay-Z and Beyonce allegedly spent $1.3million to seal off and redecorate the wing in which Beyonce was due to give birth.
Meanwhile, celeb friends have been taking to Twitter to congratulate Beyonce and Jay-Z. Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna and Russell Simmons have sent their best wishes to the trio.
