Arcade Fire have released a trailer for their forthcoming film 'The Reflektor Tapes', due out in cinemas in September.

The Canadian band have teamed up with filmmaker Kahlil Joseph for the feature-length film - which has been cloaked under a veil of secrecy until now.

An 8-minute trailer set to their track 'Porno' has now gone online, and shows a promo for the song which features them visiting and playing in Haiti, where band member Régine Chassagne's family originates from.

The trailer features live footage of the band playing to enormous crowds, as well as some experimental filmmaking which is presumably a pre-cursor to 'The Reflektor Tapes.'

It's being released in US cinemas on September 24th, but no word yet on an Irish release.
