Adele and her fans were no doubt devastated after the Londoner cancelled the final two shows of her '25' world tour at late notice in the early hours of Saturday morning.
She was due to play four nights at Wembley Stadium but only managed two before her doctor advised her that she had damaged her vocal cords and should not proceed with the gigs on Saturday and Sunday.
However, it seems that the cancellations scuppered an even bigger event that would have put a few extra bob in her pocket.
According to The Sun, the final two gigs at the stadium were due to be filmed for a live DVD and 'up to a hundred cameras' has been prepared to film the gigs, which were set to be dubbed 'Adele Live 2017: The Finale' and released as a concert movie.
A source told the tabloid: "The DVD was a huge production and all the plans were in place for it to go ahead. But obviously that extra pressure must have been on her mind as her voice problem developed.
It’s a big disappointment, but nobody knows at this stage if it will happen again. Of course the DVD would have made millions in global sales.”
