Kanye West has finished recording the follow-up to his hugely successful 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, it is being reported today.
Music blog The Line of Best Fit has said that the hip hop kingpin's new album - his sixth - is the rapper's darkest yet. Paul Rosenberg, a US DJ who attended a listening party for the new record, said: "Everyone at the label that listened to the album loved it. I've heard it's dark, but really good."
Meanwhile, Parisian duo Daft Punk have confirmed that they worked on tracks on the record.
"It was very raw: he was rapping - kind of screaming primally, actually", Thomas Bangalter said. "Kanye doesn't give a fuck", added the other Daft Punker Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.
