Celtic folk-rockers Moving Hearts will play a one-off gig at Dublin's Olympia Theatre next month.

The band, who originally formed in 1981 with members of Planxty and other well-known musicians, will play the theatre on January 29th.

They've reformed for gigs sporadically over the last thirty years, but this will be their only Irish live date.

The current line-up is Donal Lunny (bouzouki) , Davy Spillane (uilleann pipes and low whistles), Keith Donald (sax and bass clarinet), Eoghan O’Neill (bass), Noel Eccles (percussion), Jimmy Smith (guitars), Liam Bradley (drums), Graham Henderson (keyboards) and special guests Mairtin O’Connor (accordion) and Mick Hanly (vocals).

Tickets are from €45.50 including booking fee, and on sale this Friday from usual outlets at 9am.
