Morrissey's new album 'Years of Refusal' will not be released until early 2009, reports Billboard.
His ninth solo album was scheduled for release next month, but according to his publicist, will now not hit the shelves until next year.
No reason was given for the delay, but it's speculated that producer Jerry Finn's brain haemorrhage last month may have had an impact on the decision.
Finn also produced Mozzer's 'comeback' album, 2004's 'You Are the Quarry'. He remains in hospital in Los Angeles.
