Twelve more acts have been added to the already impressive line up for Oxegen 2009. That Scottish post rockers Mogwai will play the festival on the Friday night may irritate anyone who made a point of catching them in Dublin during their recent Academy residency (me included). Similarly, if you're planning to head to Punchestown this July, then I wouldn't bother going to see Geordie rockers Maximo Park at The Academy tonight (April 6th), as they will also be making an appearance on the Saturday night.

The other top class acts just added to the line up are on Friday are turntable-maestros 2 Many DJs, brit-pop veterans Ocean Colour Scene, Dublin funksters Republic of Loose, London alt-rock duo The Hours and dream pop act M83. On the Saturday you can now catch soulful singer songwriter James Morrisson, folk-punk lady Regina Spektor, Toronto duo Crystal Castles, while BBC Sound of 2009 hot tip La Roux and punk metal buzz band You Me At Six have been added to the Sunday line up.
