It looks like Trump's people are starting to get a little bit desperate in terms of finding entertainment for his inauguration and the accompanying balls that will follow it.
The list of people who've said 'Thanks, but no thanks' continues to grow daily, it seems, as they have now resorted to asking musicians who have openly insulted the President-elect in the past.
One of them is Moby, who took to Instagram to claim that he had been approached to play at one of the inaugural balls. Last year, he went on record as calling Trump an "actual sociopath" and an "orange sociopath spray tanned cheeto", released two anti-Trump songs and penned an open letter to America titled "What The Fuck Is Wrong With You?” after he had won the election.
He posted the below picture with the caption: "Hahahahaha, I was just asked by a booking agent if I would consider djing at one of the inaugural balls for #trump... Hahahahaha, wait, Hahahaha, really? I guess I'd DJ at an inaugural ball if as payment #trump released his tax returns. Also I would probably play public enemy and stockhausen remixes to entertain the republicans. I'm still laughing. Hahahaha. So #trump what do you think, I DJ for you and you release your tax returns?"
