Miley Cyrus has never been one to shirk from a challenge, even if it involves covering one of the best-known rock ballads ever.
Cyrus appeared on SNL's special 'SNL at Home' episode on Saturday night, and her cover of Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here' proved especially poignant, given the current circumstances.
Introduced by Brad Pitt (who was doing a skit as Dr. Anthony Fauci, in case you were wondering), Cyrus's version of the prog-rock ballad took place around a fire pit as a lone guitarist accompanied her.
However, her cover seemed to divide many fans - some of whom reckoned that a pop star shouldn't have bothered touching such a classic song.
Others, meanwhile, hailed her performance.
See the reaction below:
Never thought I'd be so impressed by Miley Cyrus doing a pink floyd song. Wish You Were Here #SNLAtHome
