Currently on his final ever tour as The Streets, reports have surfaced suggesting that Mike Skinner has a new project in the pipeline – the score for the upcoming big screen debut of Channel 4 comedy series The Inbetweeners.
The film sees the TV show's socially awkward protagonists Will, Simon, Jay and Neil take a lad's holiday. Few other details of the plot have been made public, but no doubt it all descends into calamity very quickly.
According to The Sun, Skinner is a huge fans of the show and was producer's first choice to soundtrack the movie. A source revealed, "all the material he is writing for the film is new."
