Marilyn Manson - real name Brian Warner - injured himself on stage last night during a concert in New York.

In a video recorded at the event and seen below, Manson attempts to climb a stage prop of two handguns and inadvertently pulls it down on top of him. The concert was then immediately cancelled, with Manson carried off the stage in a stretcher.

A statement by Manson's representatives confirmed that he had been injured during the show, and that he was being treated in a local hospital. A source told Variety that Manson "should be fine," but cautioned that an official statement on his condition was forthcoming.

It's not yet clear if the remainder of his tour dates will be changed or cancelled due to the injury.
