Madonna picked up the Golden Globe last night (January 15th) for Best Original Song at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles for the song 'Masterpiece', from the soundtrack to WE, which she also directed.
Madge made sure to thank movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, calling him "the punisher" and showing her appreciation for "believing in my film".
Madonna even found time to take a shot at host Ricky Gervais. The TV funnyman introduced her by saying she was "just like a virgin" by retorting: "if I'm still just like a virgin, Ricky, why don't you come over here and do something about it. I haven't kissed a girl for a few years. On TV."
