A new tenant has moved into Pete Doherty's Paris pad and it's someone we didn't quite expect: Macaulay Culkin.
The Sun are reporting (pinch of salt alert) that Culkin and Doherty share a close mutual friend in The Moldy Peaches' Adam Green and, when Culkin accompanied him on a recent tour of the UK, the Home Alone star met Doherty and apparently they got on like a house on fire.
The two share an interest in poetry and acting, a career which Doherty is said to be thinking of pursuing, and Culkin has spoken of his fondness for the bohemian lifestyle in Paris.
The Sun are quoting a "source" as saying: "Macauley and Pete may seem an odd couple but they've got loads of interests and life experiences in common. They bonded over their love of poetry and art. Macauley can't get enough of listening to Pete waxing lyrical about his painting and music. He's always been a fan of extreme characters like Pete. Look at the way he defends his childhood friend Michael Jackson. Pete also loved talking to Macauley about acting, as he's been trying to launch a movie career."
We're not sure about you, but Macaulay Culkin is the last person we expected to shack up with Pete. A match made in heaven? We suppose time will tell on that one!
