It's been four years since Lorde's last album - and a long time since we've heard anything from her at all - but it seems that the New Zealand pop star is getting ready to come out of semi-retirement.
Having given fans the occasional update on social media regarding her progress on the follow up to 2017's 'Melodrama', the 24-year-old made her first on-stage appearance in quite a while in her native Auckland last night.
She joined musician Marlon Williams on stage for a duet of Bruce Springsteen's 'Tougher Than the Rest', taken from his 1987 album 'Tunnel of Love'.
In some ways, as fans have pointed out, she is returning the favour to Springsteen; in 2014, he covered her track 'Royals' while on tour in New Zealand.
