According to several sources, the Spice Girls have recorded a video message announcing a 2019 stadium tour, most likely taking in venues across Britain. As of now, there's no word on an Irish date but that could well be announced with the video's release on Monday.
Publicists for the Spice Girls are refusing to confirm the rumours, but seeing as how Mel B's Hallowe'en costume was a pointed dig at Victoria Beckham, the rumours appear to be confirmed. Not only that, the four members heading on tour - Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner - are to appear on 'The Jonathan Ross Show' next Saturday.
The last time all five members of Spice Girls appeared on stage was at the 2012 London Olympics, with many believing it to be their final gig. The exact reason as to Victoria Beckham's absence remains a mystery, however she has shot down rumours of a reunion tour in the past.
Check back in on Monday and see if we're right. For now, we'll leave you with this track which - fun fact - was filmed in Stoneybatter.
