Given the similarity in their names, it was only a matter of time before it happened - but we're still surprised that it works so well.
Someone with altogether too much time on their hands has created a musical mash-up of indie-rock band Weezer's music and rapper Kanye West aka Yeezy's lyrics, and the resultant album - dubbed 'Yeezer' - is doing the rounds today.
It sees song titles like 'The Buddy Holly Workout Song' and 'Bound 2 Smile', and mash-ups of Weezer's 'Beverly Hills' with West's 'Through the Wire' ('Through the Hills'), 'Island in the Sun' with 'American Boy' ('American Island') and more.
Our favourite? It's gotta be that grungey mix of 'Say It Ain't So' with West's 'Power' on the brilliant '(And They) Say It Ain't So.'
