Blink-182 have been working on their new album - their first without founding member Tom DeLonge - for the past while, but it seems like fans will have to wait a little bit longer to hear it.

The pop-punks have scrapped everything they've recorded to date, according to drummer Travis Barker.

He told US radio station KX 93.5 that the band had followed in Green Day's footsteps by scrapping the album that they had written - as Green Day did before recording 'American Idiot'  - and writing a brand new one.

He said: "It's honestly the best material we’ve written or put out in years. I haven’t been excited about a Blink album like this in a long time. I’m 120 percent in.”
