A brand new track from Lana Del Rey has surfaced online. The track, called 'Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight' made its way to Soundcloud yesterday evening but it's not thought that the song will be included in Del Rey's upcoming third album 'Ultraviolence'.
Lana Del Rey enjoyed some significant time in the limelight when her song 'Video Games' piqued a lot of interest upon its release in 2011. Subsequent singles have largely failed to hit the same heights as the Ivor Novello Award winning 'Video Games' but hopes are high for her third record, which was recorded under the stewardship of one half of the Black Keys (and now a Grammy Award winning producer in his own right), Dan Auerbach.
Ultraviolence doesn't have an official release date just yet but Del Rey let slip to fans recently that it could well be set to hit the shops at the beginning of May.
Del Rey has promised that the album will be "stripped down but still cinematic and dark", as quoted by the BBC.
We weren't completely sold on the Lana Del Rey bandwagon when it rolled our way a few summers ago but, as big fans of anything Dan Auerbach, Ultraviolence will be an interesting listen when it arrives in the next month sometime.
