When it rains, it pours. No, we're not talking about the current state of the Irish summer but the THIRD new Michael Jackson track to be released from his forthcoming posthumous release Xscape is available for your ears right now. The track, called 'Blue Gangsta', follows the previously released 'Love Never Felt So Good' and 'Chicago' as the first cuts from the album of unreleased Jackson tracks given a new lease of life by producers Timbaland and (frequent Jacko collaborator) Rodney Jerkins.
We're not mad on this track, to be truthful. The very nature of this album suggests that many of the tracks weren't considered good enough for a release while Jackson was alive, as some of the tracks were recorded as far back as 1999. There's a huge market in nostalgia, though, and Michael Jackson music will always have an audience - just don't go expecting another 'Thriller' to be released anytime soon.
