As far as performances go, it's probably one of the more unusual of Glen Hansard's career to date.
The Camino de Santiago generally involves walking from the south of France to the city of Santiago de Compostela, in the north-west of Spain - but the sometime Frames/Swell Season frontman is currently on a 'Camino by Sea', which involves a boat trip in a naomhóg (a type of currach) to Santiago de Compostela.
He joined Kerry musician Breandán Begley, author Danny Mac an tSíthigh and artist Liam Holden as part of their crew on the journey, and on a stop-off in Cantabria he rang RTE's Raidio na Gaeltachta for an update and a bit of a sing-song as Gaeilge.
