As you may have expected, the second volume of the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' soundtrack rivals its predecessor in terms of power ballads and various musical nuggets from the 1970s and 1980s.
However, one surprising inclusion on the film's newest soundtrack is by a band called 'The Sneepers'.
'The who?' you may ask - and it'd be a good question. All you need to know, however, is that the one and only David Hasselhoff appears on the track and essentially performs a rap.
As Uproxx point out, it's a not-so-subtle nod to the disco version of the Star Wars theme by Meco in 1977, but it's enjoyable nonetheless.
Hear the song, and read the James Gunn-penned Hasselhoff rhyme below:
"Getting down and dirty with a procyon lotor/
Got no people skills but he’s good with motors.
That weird thing by his side an infantilized sequoia/
The two of them walk by, people say “Oh Boy-a”.
They ask me why I’m bringin’/
A baby into battle.
“Thats really irresponsible”/
And getting them rattled.
I say “Give me a break/
Get off my back dammit”.
I didn’t learn parenting/
My daddy was a planet.
In these times of hardship
Just remember:
We are Groot"
