We'll admit outright, we're no fans of Coldplay. We are, however, massive fans of disco pioneer and founder of Italo-Disco Giorgio Moroder. Don't know who he is? He's the guy that talks over 'Giorgio By Moroder' on Daft Punk's new album.
To say that Moroder and Coldplay are an odd pairing is an understatement. You'd never have guessed that someone could take a downbeat, maudlin song and turn it into a stomping disco classic, yet here we are.
The song is available on iTunes from today with Coldplay's new album, Ghost Stories, out on May 19th.
