Glen Hansard's brand new EP 'Drive All Night', which features collaborations with Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, Joe Henry and Jake Clemons (nephew of the late E Street Band member Clarence Clemons), has premiered online via the New York Times and you can listen to the four track collection right here.
The four track EP consists of three brand new tunes, as well as the title track - a cover of Bruce Springsteen's nine minute epic from his The River album. You can pick up your copy on November 22nd via Anti-Records. The digital release will be held back to December 3rd with all proceeds going to non-profit charity Little Kids Rock, which provides music education in public schools which have had their funding cut.
Meanwhile, Glen has added a second Vicar Street date on November 25th with all proceeds going to the Peter McVerry Trust and the Dublin Simon Community, two charities who do great work in combating the increasing problem of homelessness in Dublin. Hansard had previously announced that he would play Vicar Street on November 26th. Mark Geary will support on both dates.
