Electric Picnic headliners Arctic Monkeys have released a brand new song to the web, the first single from their upcoming fifth album.. We reckon that the rock-infused 'Do I Wanna Know' contains a similar sort of swagger to the music of Alex Turners best mate, Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme. Listen for yourself below.
Arctic Monkey's third album 'Humbug' was produced by Homme and saw the Sheffield band achieve their most aggresive sound to date, before scaling back slightly with 2011's 'Suck It and See'. If 'Do I Wanna Know' is any indication, we predict that the Monkeys' next record will be a wee banger.
The song was debuted recently throughout a US tour and the band have hinted that they'd like to release an album before 2013 is over with. Let's hope so, eh?
