Following the reunion of the original Limp Bizkit line up last year, the nu-metallers are heading out on the road, kicking off a world tour this Spring, and stopping in Dublin in August.
Frontman Fred Durst and guitarist Wes Borland explained the decision to get the old band back together:
"We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other. Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back."
As well as the tour, the band are planning a new full length album.
Limp Bizkit play The Olympia Theatre on August 24th. Tickets priced from €39.20 go on sale this Friday April 23rd at 9am.
