Just days ago, Liam Gallagher's post-Oasis band Beady Eye released the first snippet of new music into the world via a 21 second clip on their official website. Little more than a fairly standard guitar riff, it was hardly new at all, but today the band have announced that they will release their first single as a free download.

The song in question is called 'Bring The Light' and will be available to download for free from www.beadyeyemusic.com from 10am tomorrow morning (Wednesday November 10th). As well as the digital download single, the song will also be released as a strictly limited 7" vinyl with a song called 'Sons Of The Stage' on the B-side. It will be exclusively available from the band's website and a pre-order facility also opens tomorrow at 10am.

Liam Gallagher formed Beady Eye with former Oasis members Gem Archer, Andy Bell and Chris Sharrock in late 2009.
