Liam Gallagher has informed fans that his new album is finished.
We don't want to jinx it, but it looks like we'll be hearing some brand new music from Liam Gallagher very soon. The musician's follow-up to 2017's 'As You Were' looks to be shaping up nicely, and could be near completion, if it's not already.
Taking to Twitter this morning, Gallagher said to his fans "Album 2 in the bag Day want some LG x".

Naturally enough, the former Oasis frontman's Twitter account has exploded, with the tweet garnering 1.1 thousand comments within its first hour. Gallagher has cheekily been responding to comments, such as this response when a fan asked "Is it gonna be the same style as Noel's new song?"

This solo sophomore release has been hotly anticipated, given how successful his debut release was in Ireland and the UK. The album went straight to number one in both countries, and outsold his brother's third album effort with Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
No release date for his new album has been revealed as of yet, but we should expect some new music from the musician very soon.
In the meantime, Liam is set to play Cork's Independent Park this June 23rd - and perhaps attendees will get treated some new material.
We also have Liam's new documentary 'As It Was' to look forward to next month too. The movie will release in cinemas on June 7th, and "tells the honest and emotional story of how one of the most electrifying rock’n’roll frontmen went from the dizzying heights of his champagne supernova years in Oasis to living on the edge, ostracised and lost in the musical wilderness of booze, notoriety and bitter legal battles. Starting again alone, stripped bare and with nowhere to hide, Liam risks everything to make the greatest comeback of all time."
Here's the full trailer, if you haven't already checked it out.
