It's surely one of the longest-running sagas that the indie music scene has ever encountered: will Oasis just get on with it and reform?

Liam is currently on tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Oasis's debut album 'Definitely Maybe', which hits Dublin's 3Arena later this month - and over the weekend, played an Oasis song live for the first time.

'Half the World Away', which was sung by Noel, has never been included in Liam's set before this tour - but he introduced it in Cardiff last night, saying "So I’m gonna dedicate this next tune to my little brother, who’s still playing hard to get."

"But that’s alright - word on the street is he was spotted in a really posh chocolate shop – one of them Thornton's – buying some chocolates. So you never know! D’you know what I mean?"

Liam has spoken of his desire to reform Oasis on multiple occasions over the years, but it seems as though big brother Noel is the one still holding out.

With the 30th anniversary of their defining record '(What's the Story) Morning Glory' on the horizon in 2025, now would be the perfect time to get the ball rolling...
