Liam Gallagher's debut solo album has an official release date.

'As You Were' is out on October 6th, just one month before brother Noel releases his third album as Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

It was produced by Greg Kurstin (Sia, Adele, Ellie Goulding, The Shins) - who also played all of the instruments on the four songs he produced - and Dan Grech-Marguerat, and is said to have a '60s/'70s sound that has been 'updated for the here and now'. “I didn’t want to be reinventing anything or going off on a space jazz odyssey,” he said in the press release. “It’s the Lennon ‘Cold Turkey’ vibe, The Stones, the classics. But done my way, now.”
