Leonard Cohen is to return to the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham once again for a two dates in September. The legendary artist played the grounds of the Irish Museum of Modern Art in 2008, ending a ten year period without a live performance - and the occasion clearly got to Cohen.
He said of the gig: "We were playing in Ireland and the reception was so warm that tears came to my eyes and I thought 'I can't be seen weeping at this point' - then I turned around and saw the guitar player weeping."
Tickets for Leonard Cohen at the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham on 11th and 12th of September are on sale from 9am this Friday and are priced at €79.50.
