She stunned audiences and defied haters with her performance of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at this year's Super Bowl, but it looks like Lady Gaga could be on an even bigger platform come Super Bowl 51.
According to Billboard, Gaga is in talks with the NFL to headline the prestigious Super Bowl halftime show next year.
"We have had conversations with several fantastic artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, at this point we do not have a final decision," an NFL rep told Billboard when asked about the possibility of Lady Gaga performing. "We’re happy there is so much excitement about the show."
This comes after Adele alleged that she was offered and had turned down the chance to perform next year, which the NFL then denied saying "We have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else."
With her new single just out and new album on the way, she does seem like an obvious choice, and seeing as there are only a handful of stars out there right now who could pull of a halftime show (that haven't already), we'd say it's a safe bet that Gaga will be entertaining the world from Houston come February 5th, 2017.
