Sorry, Britney Spears fans - it looked like you might have been in luck for a while, but despite expressing her interest in the gig, she's not playing next year's Super Bowl halftime show.
Instead, Lady Gaga has been confirmed as the halftime entertainment, as she tweeted the news out herself.
She'll mark her second appearance at the Super Bowl (she also played it in 2015) next February 5th in Houston, Texas.
With her new album 'Joanne' coming out next month, it'll be interesting to see what she has up her sleeve this time.
It's not an illusion. The rumors are true. This year the SUPER BOWL goes GAGA! @nfl @FOXTV @pepsi #PERFECTILLUSION #GAGASUPERBOWL pic.twitter.com/qR4O57451G

John Entz of Fox Sports said: "Lady Gaga is one of the most electric performers of our generation, and we couldn't be happier with the choice to have her headline the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show. It is going to be an incredible night."
As The Hollywood Reporter points out, she's only the fifth woman to headline the halftime show in 51 years, which is kind of shocking but not surprising. Previous women have included Diana Ross, Madonna, Katy Perry and Beyonce.
Show 'em what they've been missing, Gaga...
