Irish trad stalwarts Kíla will be one of the first acts to play the Irish music scene's newest venue next month.

The hmv sound garden in Sligo will host the trad fusion band led by Ronan Ó Snódaigh on Saturday March 19th, aka St. Patrick's Weekend - a suitable weekend to celebrate all things Irish. Support on the night will come from Dublin folk musician Rhob Cunningham.

Retooled, rejigged and rethought from its humble beginnings as a nightclub, the new hmv sound garden has been decked out with a brand new stage, PA and sound desk and has already hosted the likes of Ryan Sheridan and Daithí in recent weeks.

Tickets for the Kíla gig are priced at €15/12 and more details can be found at facebook.com/hmvsoundgarden.
