However, it seems that Kanye West has made amends by donating $2 million to the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor. Ahmaud Arbery was the unarmed black jogger shot dead by two white men several weeks ago, and Breonna Taylor was killed by police in her Louisville apartment in March. West's donation will fund legal fees for their families, as well as support black-owned businesses in his hometown of Chicago.
The rapper has also set up a fund to fully cover the college tuition of Gianna Floyd, the 6-year-old daughter of George Floyd.
