Justin Timberlake took to Twitter last night to cancel a sold-out gig scheduled for New York's Madison Square Garden on Friday night. JT was apparently forced to pull the plug on his scheduled show at Madison Square Garden, as part of his 20/20 Experience World Tour, at the eleventh hour after coming down with a mystery illness.
Hours before the gig was due to take place, the 33-year-old star announced he wouldn't be performing on Twitter, tweeting: 'Hey NY. There is never an easy way to do this... Unfortunately, I have to postpone tonight's show to Friday due to health reasons.'
He added: 'I am truly sorry to everyone that have tickets for tonight. It kills me to have to do this. I hope to see you all on Friday. JT'
Justin has rescheduled his cancelled concert for Friday, following his second sold-out gig at the venue on Thursday night. He will also appear on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' on Friday before moving on to perform in Buffalo, New York on Saturday. The singer gave no indication he was feeling unwell when he took to the stage in Chicago on Tuesday night.
Timberlake's current world tour began in November and runs until August with a final date in Poland.
