Every so often, we hear stories about world-famous stars earning megabucks to perform at glitzy parties thrown by the richest people in the world.

It's nothing new - Beyoncé and Rihanna have both done so in the recent past - but it does make slogging at a desk in your 9-5 seem a little more onerous.

The latest celeb to follow the money is Justin Bieber, who was reportedly paid an incredible $10 million for performing at a party thrown by Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani.

Ambani - who is chairman of the company Reliance Industries - is the richest man in Asia with a net worth of $120 billion, so a mere $10 million is spare change to him.

Ahead of his son Anant's wedding in Mumbai, he called in one of the biggest pop stars in the world to provide the entertainment.

Bieber has not performed live or toured in several years, but that whopper of a paycheck was clearly enough to get him out of the house.

Considering his impending fatherhood - he recently revealed that his wife Hailey is pregnant - perhaps he was simply on the lookout for a few extra bob for the baby.

The gig took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, and Bieber performed some of his biggest hits - including 'Baby', 'Love Yourself', 'What Do You Mean' and 'Sorry'.
