Rapper Meek Mill has been sentenced to a prison term for violating the terms of his probation, and several of his peers have spoken out against what they perceive to be an overly harsh sentence.
The Philadelphia rapper will serve between two and four years after being arrested twice earlier this year, which the judge deemed a violation of his probation. Although both charges in those arrests were ultimately dropped, the judge accused Mill of "just thumbing your nose at me" with his repeated re-offending.
