The Vaccines, James Blake and Jessie J have been nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2011 Brit Awards.
Every year the award is given to the most promising new act for the year ahead. Last year's award was won by Ellie Goulding, with Florence and the Machine and Adele picking it up in previous years. All three of this year's nominated acts also feature on the BBC's recently announced Sound of 2011 longlist.
The winner of the Critics' Choice Award will be announced next Wednesday December 15th and will get the opportunity to perform at the Brit Award ceremony itself on February 15th 2011.
