Eve Belle, the so-called 'Donegal damsel of the sad bop', has released a new single and is planning a date in Dublin next month to celebrate.

'Out of Town' follows on from the singer-songwriter's previous single 'Cut-Throat', and was recorded in London with producer Fred Cox (Rag ‘N’ Bone Man, Grace Carter).

It's the first track from Eve Belle's forthcoming debut EP 'The Fine Line Between Brave And Stupid', which is out on July 5th.

"“Out Of Town is about the giddiness that comes with new romance and that ‘will-we-won't-we?’ feeling that takes over your mind as you fall for someone new," she explains. "It's inspired by the perils of dating and letting yourself be open to new people and experiences, no matter how counter-intuitive that can be at times.”

Her next Dublin gig, meanwhile, has also been announced: she'll headline Upstairs at Whelan's on July 24th.

Tickets are €10 including booking fee, and on sale from usual outlets now.
