Remember the name Donna McCaul? She and her brother Joe represented Ireland in the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest - well, the semi-final. Unfortunately, they didn't qualify for the final so were sent home prematurely.
Everyone deserves a second chance, though, and now the Athlone native - now based full-time in LA - is going for another bite of the cherry by auditioning for the US version of The Voice.
She's made it through to the blind audition level - i.e. the bit where singers try to get the judges to turn their chairs around - and will sing for Christina Aguilera, Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Her audition will be the news series of the US TV show, which begins in late February.

Good luck, Donna - maybe don't show them this, though, eh?
