The ten albums nominated for the Choice Music Prize for Irish album of the year have been revealed.
Last year's winner CMAT will go head-to-head once again with the likes of Fontaines DC frontman Grian Chatten, folk artist John Francis Flynn and Lankum in a bid to become the first act to win consecutive prizes.
The winner will be announced at a live show at Vicar Street on March 7th that will feature performances from the nominated acts - although those acts have yet TBC.
The prizes for Irish Song of the Year 2023 (which is announced this Friday nd decided via a public vote), Irish Artist of the Year 2023 and Irish Breakthrough Artist will also be awarded on the night.
