This is relentlessly captivating in the way that Daft Punk are, low-key, inviting, catchy and hypnotic. The stand-out track, 'La Guitaristic House Organisation' has recently been released as a highly impressive single with mixes from Terry McFarlane, but the delights of 'Installation Sonore' are myriad, including the excellently reserved '323 secondes de musique repetitive avec guitare espagnole' , which is best described as 323 seconds of repetitive music with Spanish guitar. That's how honest these people are.
Listening to most of these tracks, you tend to imagine a long motorway with nothing on it except yourself in a black Audi TT and the stereo up full. At least it will help you imagine.
