Burning Man is one of the most famous arts festivals in the world, having taken place in Black Rock City - a temporary community that has sprung up each year in the Nevada desert - since 1986.
The music, art and experimental event is - or was - synonymous with the counterculture movement, with over 70,000 people attending last year's festival. The title comes from the symbolic burning of a large wooden structure, which usually takes place on the Saturday night of the event.
If it's been a festival to tick off your list but you've never gotten around to attending it, there's potentially good news on the horizon; reports suggest that it will expand to Europe in 2017.
The Dutch edition of Esquire magazine claims that a Burning Man festival titled "Where The Sheep Sleep" will take place in the Netherlands from July 29th - 31st next year, and that tickets are only available to those who are a member of the Burning Man Netherlands Facebook group.
A spokesperson for the festival has not confirmed or denied the rumours, but it could add a very interesting facet to Europe's festival landscape in 2017.
