Andrew Hozier-Byrne must feel like everything is falling into place for him pretty nicely at the moment. Last week's appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman was the Wicklow man's US television debut where he performed his breakthrough hit 'Take Me To Church' to a TV audience of around three million and he got similar figures yesterday when he performed the same song on The Ellen Show - a simply remarkable rise to fame for an artists we last saw treading the boards inside Dublin's Button Factory to a couple of hundred heads.
Anyway, presumably to capitlise on all this positive press at the moment Hozier has released a brand new tune to the web. The song, titled 'Sedated', is the second cut from his forthcoming debut record due later this year - an album which promises to be one of the most interesting Irish releases of the year.
